Like much of Dell’s photo printer range, the V305W Colour Inkjet Multifunction All in One Printer is a sharp looking, easy to use solution for home and small office users boasting wireless capabilities, a scanner/copy machine and a variety of USB and memory card inputs. Its best qualities include:
- A low price point of less than $150 Australian, cheaper than its inkjet, colour printer competitors
- A very high print speed and print quality, especially for black and white document printing
The Dell V305W is hardly a perfect inkjet multifunction, however, with its limited downfalls including:
- Eye-popping costs for colour printing and photo printing
- Less than ideal photo print quality
Dell V305W Printing
While the V305W is super fast and sharp when printing black and white documents, it is less impressive when printing colour sheets, which are muddy on standard paper and discoloured on photo paper. While many home users may not mind this Dell’s mid-level quality, especially given its powerful black and white printing, the cost per page for colour is very high at more than nine cents per page. Similarly, the cartridges simply do no last very long, even at modest usage.
