The HP Deskjet D2560 Gets the Job Done
For such a cheap price, it’s hard to pass up the HP Deskjet D2560, which prints up some decent quality documents at a more than adequate speed. Whilst there is no USB cable included, which needs to be purchased separately, the rest of the installation is easy as pie with helpful instructions and maps to guide you through. The Deskjet D2560 has a very lightweight design, and includes an input tray that holds up to 80 pages. The inkjet printer comes bundled with Photosmart Essential photo printer software, but unfortunately the quality of this printing isn’t the best. In general, this colour printer would be best suited for students printing assignments or other home printing needs, rather than an environment where there is great demand for large volumes of printing.
HP Deskjet D2560 Printing
Officially, the HP inkjet printer has speeds which can reach up to printing 26 pages per minute black and 20 ppm colour. When tested, the results were somewhat slower, however the colour printer achieved some decent speeds for its price. Its print quality is quite high with black-and-white text at 600 dpi and full-colour photos printing in 4800 x 1200 dpi. This inkjet printer can be likened to the tortoise rather than the hare, slowly, steadily and silently printing high quality documents. The colour photo printing quality however is not excellent, and if you’re looking specifically for a good photo printer, this is not the right printer for you.
